Calling all Central Texas animal lovers! Join us at the Central Texas Chapter February meeting to get updates about THLN's legislative activities and learn about volunteer opportunities for Spring and Summer 2019!
The Texas Humane Legislation Network cordially invites you to a gathering of our Central Texas Chapter to discuss the upcoming 2019 session and how you can get political for animals. Beginning January 8th we will have 140 days to Legislate To Change Their Fate! Exciting legislation has already been filed to advance the humane treatment of animals this session and THLN will be prioritizing bills to fix our broken statute regulating dog shelter and restraint and crack down on predatory practices at pet stores.
Laura Donahue, Executive Director, our Central Texas Chapter President, Lauren Loney and the bill authors on critical animal protection bills will be in attendance!
This event is open to the public, but we do ask that you RSVP/purchase a ticket so we can ensure seats for all.
Cost: $10 helps us offset cost of refreshments and materials
