I am a asking for your support of my campaign for House District 31. I’ve been following your efforts to strengthen legislation to protect our animals in Texas — you have done outstanding work!


I am the President of a local nonprofit organization, Wilson County No Kill Animal Shelter, Inc. I founded the shelter in 2015 and have been managing it for the last 6+ years. I devote thousands of hours doing community service every year, including directing a youth summer camp teaching humane education for children ages 6 and up. I am the ONLY candidate with this level of community service that involves animals and children in our community.


A little about me…

I am an American wife and mother.

I am a conservative christian patriot.

I firmly believe in the constitution as our founding document.

I understand the importance of our second amendment rights, which shall never be infringed upon by the government.

I believe in small government.

I support LEGAL immigration.

I am PROUD of my country and my heritage.

I live my values every day.

I will fiercely protect my children from manipulation and evil.

These are my principles; they will never change.


I am currently a School Board Trustee for the Floresville Independent School District. I was elected to represent my district in 2019. I am very politically active in Wilson County, where I currently reside. I have a Master’s degree in business with nearly 20 years of experience in Human Resources. I have been in nursing and EMS for the last 10 years. I’m married to a man who devoted 27 years of his life serving in the Army. We have 3 adopted and 2 biological children. Our children have been in both homeschool and public school environments. In addition to my work for Wilson County No Kill Animal Shelter, Inc., I am leading the effort to overhaul property taxes. I organized eight seminars and workshops (for free) to help nearly 1,000 property owners fight their outlandish tax rates and appraisals this year. My advocacy efforts resulted in property tax protests being tripled in 2021. I am the only candidate that has earned the title of “citizen taxpayer champion”. I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk.


As I mentioned above, I am a conservative christian patriot. Being raised in a Mexican-American home, I am proud of my country and my heritage. I also happen to be the only Republican female running in District 31 for State Representative. As your state rep, I want to do what I can to ensure our children have the opportunity to enjoy the freedoms our generation grew up with.


These are some of the reasons my campaign is built on FAMILY first, SERVICE to others, and FREEDOM for all.
