DESCRIPTION: Join professionals from multiple disciplines as The Link Symposium explores “the dark side” of the human-animal bond and its implications for human and social services, animal care and control, law enforcement and the criminal justice system, and human and veterinary medicine.  Symposium attendees will learn about new collaborative strategies, public policy, research, and programs to prevent family violence and to respond to its human and animal victims.
