KERR COUNTY AND KERRVILLE PETS ALIVE! HOSTS TEXAS HUMANE LEGISLATION NETWORK TO REVIEW NEW LAWS RELATED TO ANIMALS

Kerr County and nonprofit Kerrville Pets Alive! will host a FREE community meeting to present the new laws in Texas that impact animals in association with the Texas Humane Legislation Network

When: September 18, 2023 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Where: 
Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 TX 27 in Kerrville

The event will be led by Shelby Bobosky, Executive Director of the Texas Humane Legislation Network, and will cover the laws passed during the 2023 Session, the 88th Texas Legislature, including laws that related to dog and cat breeders, Trap-Neuter-Release, service dogs, and a focus on local ordinances from regulations selling pet store puppies to functioning agricultural operations in city limits. The meeting includes a Q & A at the end to ask questions on animal laws in general and how to support common sense animal welfare legislation.
