YOU Helped Elect The Network's Humane Candidates in the 2016 Primary Races!

You spread the word, you voted, and the animals won last night!

We are thrilled to announce that
all but one of our candidates endorsed by the Texas Humane Legislation Network won their Primary races! Success in these critical Texas districts will help animals throughout our state. These lawmakers are powerful advocates with important leadership and committee assignments, and have proven track records in fighting cruelty. These wins position the Network for success before the legislative session even begins and ensures we continue to deepen our bench for an all-star line-up of champions that will go to bat for the animals.

Please share our Humane Candidates for the 2016 Primary victories with all your friends and family! Also, please contact our Humane Candidates through social media or a hand written note, congratulate them on their race, and thank them for supporting our Network.

You will hear from us soon to seek your help for Bryan Hughes, who has been a champion for animals in the Texas House and is running for Senate District 1 in the May 24th run-off election. While Rep. Hughes co-authored the Canine Encounter Training Bill in 2015 and co-sponsored the Humane Euthanasia Bill in 2013, his opponent, Rep. Simpson, actively tried to kill The Network's Puppy Mill Bill in 2011. Stay tuned for how you can help in this critical race.

Our Network is only as strong as our collective voice and because of advocates like YOU we are stronger than ever. Your voice was heard and your vote counted - thank you for your support!
