Regional Chapters

Regional Chapter Information

THLN currently has eight chapters who are being very productive around the State, but we still have needs for new chapters in the following areas:

* Panhandle Plains (Lubbock & Amarillo area)
* San Antonio
* El Paso

Please contact Monica Hardy at ed@thln.org to see how YOU can help with our efforts to pass animal friendly legislation right here in Texas

Thank you for your interest in getting involved with a local THLN Chapter. Each Chapter has a "Chapter Leadership Committee" who is responsible  for creating  and executing  a yearly plan of action in the following areas; marketing, fundraising, outreach, and legislative support. Each Chapter will have different needs for volunteers so please don't hesitate to ask where you could best be utilized depending on your time, skills, and experience.

Our Chapters are listed below along with general geographic information. You may contact the Chapter President directly to get involved or if you are not sure which Chapter you belong to please contact our Executive Director Monica Hardy at ed@thln.org and just ask. While most of the State is covered we still have immediate needs for dedicated volunteers to get Chapters started in the Panhandle and the Abilene areas so if you live in these areas and want to help get a Chapter started please let us know.

Thank you for your support as none of our efforts for the animals would be possible without YOU!

As you all know THLN has created chapters throughout the state of Texas to help our organization with marketing, fundraising, outreach, and legislative support. We have experienced some wonderful results with the efforts of our chapter leadership committees, local volunteers and members. THLN is truly making a big difference in Texas and we could not be doing it without YOU!

We have had a productive "North Texas Chapter" but this leadership committee recently came to the conclusion we are in need of both a Fort Worth Chapter and a Dallas Chapter. Separate Chapters will give more people opportunity to attend meetings and other events without fighting that challenging DFW traffic -making it easier for you to participate and make a difference in the lives of animals.

Both the Dallas Chapter and Fort Worth Chapter are looking for more people to get involved. We need your help and support to either serve on the Chapter Leadership Committee or as active volunteers helping with local efforts such as fundraising, working a tabling event to educate people about THLN, making visits to legislators, etc...

If you have a little time to become more active, and help us help those with no voice, I want to highly encourage you to contact your local Chapter President immediately to get more information and see how we can utilize your efforts and passion for animals.
