Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN) and Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas, are jointly hosting a Second Annual "Bad to the Bone" Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the private residence of Kelly and Scott Hershman in Dallas, Texas, wherein one hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit these two organizations. In 2011, this event raised over $30,000.00 and we hope to make this year even more successful!. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to have fun while helping animals!
The Second Annual "Bad to the Bone" Fundraiser and Silent Auction is a fun-filled event including live music and entertainment. Admission to the fundraiser is $75.00 on or before October 15, 2012 (and $100.00 thereafter until the event). Tickets include complimentary valet, take home picture of you on our customized Bad to the Bone motorcycles, Texas-themed cuisine, a top shelf bar (including our infamous "Pop the Clutch" cocktail), plenty of sweets and treats that can be taken home, a one of a kind pint glass souvenir, and a chance to win one of many wonderful items in the silent and live auction! Tickets are limited so act fast! VIP tables and sponsorship opportunities are still available. All proceeds received from the Fundraiser and Silent Auction will go directly to THLN and Operation Kindness.
This fun-filled event includes live music, a bar, Texas-themed cuisine, and dessert bar! You will also get to mingle with Honorary Host Ron Corning, Anchor of WFAA's News 8 Daybreak!

As many of you know, THLN had an incredible legislative session for animals in 2011 as it helped pass five major animal welfare bills, including the passage of the puppy mill bill. Although next year’s legislative agenda for THLN is still to be confirmed, strengthening the puppy mill bill and working toward the elimination of gas chambers at all animal shelters in Texas may take center stage. Given these important issues, NOW is the time to help THLN raise money to promote the humane treatment of animals through legislation, education, and advocacy!
