We are proud to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Ledy VanKavage, the Senior Legislative Attorney and National Manager of Best Friends Animal Society's Pit Bull Terrier Initiative! Katie Jarl of HSUS, Jessica Johnson of the ASPCA, TDLR's Deputy Executive Director Brian Francis, Paula Bacon (former Kaufman mayor), Julie Caramante of the Equine Welfare Alliance, and many other wonderful guests will be speaking at the conference. They will cover the topics of horse slaughter, puppy mills, legislation, advocacy, THLN's 2013 legislative agenda, and more.
